ST. TIMOTHY’S ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT SPONSORED BY MoST will be held after the 10:15 a.m. service today.  All children 12 years old and younger are eligible to participate.  Please meet in the Parish Hall for instructions.  If you have any questions, you can contact any member of MoST.  Thank you, Julius Copeland
 
CONGRATULATIONS TO LILLIE ARTIS, MARY FORD AND NOVELLA WRIGHT, three of eight sisters who graduated from St. Augustine College, Raleigh, NC.  The sisters will be honored by the university on April 6 in a special celebration for their dedicated and continuous support of the University; most especially through the scholarship fund they established in honor of their parents to help other young people to obtain a higher education. TIMOTHY'S ADULT BIBLE STUDY will begin the spring and summer session on Wednesday, April 3, at 7 p.m.  We will continue our study of Paul's First Apostle to the Corinthians, Chapters eight and nine. FRIENDS AND FAMILY DAY - Please bring your family, friends, neighbors and all other persons who touch your life to worship with the Saint Timothy's Congregation at 8  a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 7.    Make sure you bring them to the Parish Hall for refreshments, to get acquainted meet our Rector and the 2013 Vestry.    
 
REMINDER:  Next Sunday is Samaritan Ministry Sunday.  Please be generous by bringing non-perishable food items (or make a financial contribution).  Thank you!

SHARING THE SPIRIT WITH HONDURAS, JERUSALEM AND SOUTHERN AFRICA:  How You and Your Parish Can Join In:  All are invited to an International Partnership Showcase on Sunday, April 14, at 3-5:30pm (presentations at 3:30pm) at St. Paul’s Rock Creek (just off North Capitol Street).  Partnership program representatives will be there to talk about how to get started and the types of activities that are most rewarding. THE ST. TIMOTHY’S BOOK CLUB has decided to read the four books in the BLESSING SERIES by Beverly Jenkins.  If you have not read the first book, “Bring on the Blessings”---GO GET IT NOW.  Then you can read the second book, “A Second Helping”.  The story continues with Bernadine Brown who saved the historical town of Henry Adams, Kansas, from financial ruin and found loving homes for five needy children.  Now Bernadine becomes involved in so much more.  With the help of the loving and caring people of Henry Adams, Bernadine continues to rebuild Henry Adams.  Enjoy the book(s) and come have fun when the book club meets on Friday, April 19 at 6:30 pm.  Thank you, Sharon Wardlaw, Chair, Social and Cultural Committee and Pat Johnson, Book Club Coordinator
 
CAMP EDOW 2013: RISING 4TH-8TH GRADERS ARE INVITED TO DIOCESAN SUMMER CAMP - Sunday, July 28-Friday, August 2, at Lions Camp Merrick in Nanjemoy, MD. CAMP EDOW IS ALSO ON THE HUNT FOR SOME AWESOME ADULTS who would like to volunteer to be camp counselors!  If you know someone who is 18 years or older, has graduated high school, and who would be willing to go through the Safeguarding God's Children program, be subject to a background check, and ready to be part of a faith community, please send them to the Camp EDOW website to learn more and find a staff application!
