A vibrant, energetic, educational, and inspirational youth ministry has always been a cornerstone of the St. Timothy’s spiritual experience.
This ministry identifies, develops and implements programs and activities to enhance youth from infancy through high school (or 18 years of age). We invite our young people to explore their faith through experiential learning, field trips, and spiritual retreats.
Youth at St. Timothy's participate in events at the parish as well as at diocesan level. As an inter-generational parish, our young people are involved in several aspects of worship, community events, and church activities.
St. Timothy's celebrates Youth Sunday every fourth Sunday of the month. During services, youth lead by ushering, singing, reading and providing the homily. This is a highlight of our inter-generational experience as a parish.
We have a talented and engaged Children's Choir led by Meg Edwards Jones. The group has performed at several events including the annual Bishop Walker Memorial Scholarship Prayer Breakfast, Haiti Micah 10th Anniversary Celebration and at several services.
We are a home for the young, old and the in-between. Our youth benefit from the wisdom of our elders and our elders are inspired by the energy of our curious youth.
